This financial year the Trust has agreed a financial plan with our regulators, which means we will be £43m in deficit at the end of March 2019.
It is vital we find ways of generating extra income, or reducing our spend and we want to focus on how we can do this and involve our commissioners (our local CCGs) in the process.
We have agreed a different sort of contract with our CCGs this year which gives us the opportunity to take a fresh look over all our services that we provide.
We have an opportunity to both maintain and improve services for patients but also reduce the costs of providing them, not just here but across the patch.
We would like to tell you more about this and hear your ideas and would like to invite you to join us at a drop in session.
They start on Wednesday and the dates and times are:
Wednesday 4 July, 1pm – 2.00pm – Rooms 3 & 4, Acre Mill Outpatients Building, HRI
Friday 6 July, 2.30pm – 3.30pm – Large Training Room, L&D Centre, CRH
Tuesday 10 July, 11.30am – 12.30pm – Board Room, HRI
Thursday 12 July, 8.00am – 9.00am – Lecture Theatre, CRH
Thursday 12 July, 5.30pm – 6.30pm – Board Room, HRI
If you aren’t able to come along, you can still tell us your ideas through the ‘do your bit’ email address doyourbit@cht.nhs.uk.
