Theatre 5 team at CRH are set to be the telly highlight on local news coverage of NHS70 next week.
Next Thursday - the day of the actual anniversary - our teams and colleagues in Yorkshire Fertility, Maternity and Radiology will be the stars of Calendar's afternoon and teatime prime time bulletins.
We're not giving anything away... but last week a baby was delivered by caesarian section in front of the cameras in Theatre 5 at CRH and the baby's Mum is very special at CHFT too.
It had been a hugely emotional journey for them all and it's a cracking story.
We will be revealing all in our special NHS70 CHFT Weekly which will come out on Friday (July 6) showcasing all your events from the Big Day.
Consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician Chetan Ruprai, second right, who delivered the telly baby, said: "As always our theatre team were efficient, instinctive in an emergency, compassionate and kept their sense of humour to keep the patient and her partner at ease."
Every day the programme will feature a different story showing the NHS at its best. The Calendar region is vast covering all the Yorks and Humber region so for CHFT to have been selected is amazing.
**If' you've an NHS70 event in your area then tell Comms so we can tweet and Facebook you and we can all join in on a very special day. Call HRI on x5252/3/6
**Also there's the extra highlight of Halifax landmark Wainhouse Tower being illuminated in NHS Blue not just for that day but for a while. It should make for stunning viewing. Big thanks to our partners at Calderdale Council for a real high-light
