Our sister on HRI MAU Amy Whitehead and the team raised £112 this week as part of their contribution to Alzheimer's Cupcake day.

The team wanted to combine efforts to celebrate Acute Medical Awareness Week (starts 18th June) as well as with an Alzheimer's Cupcake day to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's society, as many of the patients they see have the condition.

The cake stall was run by Amy, ward clerk Diane Hadden and discharge co-ordinator Keeley Quinn (pictured). All three wanted to send a big thank you to all the staff that donated cakes.
