Halifax parkrun contacted CHFT Weekly this week to say they're also having an NHS70 themed run this Saturday 9th June.  

They're joining Huddersfield and more than 300 other parkruns on the day and the event is backed by Dame Kelly Holmes (pictured). So if you have registered for either event, please take photos on the day and we'll cover them in CHFT Weekly as part of the birthday celebrations.

The Halifax parkrun is at Shroggs Park Read more here and register.

Both runs are 5k and start at 9am - you must register in advance as the event is manned by volunteers.
