There was a fab turnout to say farewell to Brendan Brown as he left us to take up the Chief Exec's role at Airedale.
He joined us two years ago from Burton Hospitals FoundationTrust as our Chief Nurse and hailed his two years at CHFT as the best in his 30 in the NHS.
At his final gathering at CRH, our CEO Owen Williams, thanked him for bringing an extra feel-good factor to the Trust.
He said: "People talk about the power of laughter and that is something that Brendan brought to this Trust. Once Brendan joined us I regularly heard real belly laughter in Trust HQ which was a first! It has been a pleasure and honour to work with Brendan and I would like to give a real deep thank you for making us smile and feel good about ourselves. We know that you will be a real asset to Airedale and wish you all the best."
Brendan, said: " I have been here for two years and have laughed for two years. We have had fun. It has honestly been the best two of my 30 years in the NHS. The people who work here at CHFT are genuinely only interested in patients and doing a good job and I am really sad to be leaving you all."
