Midwife Veronica Walker is our latest colleague to join in our NHS 70 Celebration Campaign. There's just a month to go until the Big Day on Thursday July 5.

How long have you worked in the NHS - I have worked in NHS for 17 years initially as a nurse and then a midwife.

What makes the NHS special to you - I would say a fantastic,  service and care free for all and easily accessible.

What present would you give - Perhaps remember older nurses and doctors who worked tirelessly to make the NHS what it is today.  We should also maybe invite in the retired  colleagues for coffee and cake and a catch up. We all know someone good who is retired and it would be lovely to see them.
