The Eye Clinic's lovely regular patient Lucy Smith turned 100  and we couldn't let the day go without a  bit of a do.

Lucy is always a huge help with fundraising for the Eye Clinic's events, by making items for sale and by brightening everyone up with her friendly and kind nature.

The clinic wanted to make a bit of a fuss of her and she brought us cake to share and showed us her card and telegram from the Queen.

Trish Hooson said "She's just a lovely lady!"
