Big thanks to Natalie Wood - the latest CHFT colleague to wish the NHS a very happy 70th birthday. Read her thoughts in this momentous year and if you wish to be featured - answer the questions and send to CHFT@cht.nhs.uk and Comms will do the rest.
Role and how long have you work in the NHS?
Paediatric Liaison Sister. I have worked in the NHS since Feb 2003. My whole career to date has been within CHFT.
What does the NHS mean to you?
It means accessible healthcare to all - regardless of ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation to mention just a few. A caring, compassionate and safe environment whether you’re one day old or a 101 years old. Treating patients as individuals giving them the treatment, the service, the support and the follow up they need.
What present would you give the NHS for its big birthday this year?
A fuller bank balance! !And an influx of more practitioners to fulfil the needs of the service and the demand on it
