Local elections will be taking place in our areas on 3 May. 

NHSI has produced the attached guidance with NHS England to help local NHS organisations understand the implications of the pre-election period known as purdah.The latest date purdah can start in March 27 2018.

We, as a public sector organisaiton, must avoid any announcement or action which could be argued could affect the outcome of the election and as health and social care is such a big issue there is extra special reason for us all to stick to the rules. This includes special notice to whatever appears on your twitter or facebook output.
