Last week Suzanne Dunkley, Director of Workforce sent a reminder to colleagues about our move to electronic payslips. Here's the mail in full:
As your employer we need to send you the following notification, which relates to the removal of printed payslips within the Trust.
Dear Colleague,
As you may know, we are required to provide you with an itemised pay statement on or before your pay day. From 1 February 2018 this pay statement will be provided electronically on the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) employee self-service system. Therefore, the last printed pay statement distributed by the Trust was 26 January 2018.
The on-line statement will be available before your pay day. For monthly paid staff this will be on or before the 23rd of each month and for weekly paid staff this will be on or before the Thursday of each week.
You are able to view the statement on-line and, if you choose to, print a copy. The history of your pay statements and your P60 statements will also be available to view and print.
You are able to see your payslip from the ESR homepage. Your pay history and P60’s are available there too. There is a guide to accessing your payslip on the intranet. All the payslips can be printed and are accepted by bank and building societies as evidence of pay.
Did you know that there is an APP for smartphones and tablets which lets you access your ESR from home and on the move? It is easy to use, but you have to be on a work computer to activate it. click here to find out more.
Look out for the ESR logo in the app store.
