The Government has set up a scheme known as Tax Free Childcare (TFC).  The changes mean that from Monday 5th April 2018, colleagues will no longer be able to join Employer Supported Childcare (ESC) known commonly as the Childcare Voucher Scheme*.  

The Workforce Benefits Service is promoting the deadline to ensure as many colleagues as possible can join the current scheme before April. This may seem a long way off, but as it is tied into payroll colleagues will need to join the current scheme by Tuesday 27 February so that a deduction can be made from their March salary.

Conditions of joining ESC include that you must already have a child and have some registered childcare in place, even if you are not already using this.
