The Huddersfield League of Friends (LoF) very kindly offered to pay for new volunteers uniforms and we took the opportunity for a change of colour.

The new bright yellow makes our "Supporters with a Smile" stand out and are totally different to any other colour in the Trust.

The LoF paid for T-shirts and they also allowed us to purchase tabards for our Tea Bar staff and fleeces for our Meet and Greeters.

They have purchased many items for the Trust over the last 12 months including two Denver chairs for Ward 15, two garden benches and selection boxes for children who were in day surgery at Christmas.

The League has given the Trust over £8,000 in charitable donations over the last year and  more than £43,000 over the last six years.

In the picture are  – Elaine Wood, Susan Clark, Mark Donaldson, Molly Addy, Rhonda Kilner, who are all Meet and Greet Volunteers, and Helen Stocks, the Treasurer from the HRI League of Friends.

Anya Macbeth, right,  and Charlotte Collinson from volunteers, left are also pictured.

Anya said: " On behalf of the Volunteers Department, we would like to say a big thank you to the Huddersfield League of Friends for their generous donation on this occasion and the many other occasions that they have donated funds to the Trust. Their help is very much appreciated.”
