Vice Chairman of the League Of Friends  Madeleine Brearley came in to meet with Gareth Liversidge and Kerry Brannen to see the new  £10k gym equipment donated by the LOF.

It includes a squat rack, leg press, leg extension and curl, free weights and plyometric boxes. The gym equipment is used by post operative orthopaedic patients and out-patient musculoskeletal patients.

Gareth, said: " This donation has helped staff  to support patients in a rehab setting as without this generosity there would be limited equipment. So we thank the LOF hugely.All in the physiotherapy department are extremely grateful for their generosity as are the patients of Calderdale who will get the greatest benefit from the new equipment."

The physiotherapy department has over 12 classess at week where the equipment is used.

Kerry also uses it regularly on a 1:1 basis for supervised rehab sessions and has found the equipment extremely helpful.
