The Upper Valley Reablement Team and Therapists took the opportunity over the Christmas period to work together to make up Christmas hampers filled with a variety of different festive treats and gifts for individuals in the service who unfortunately were spending the Christmas period alone.

Five service users  in all were selected and when the staff delivered their hampers on Christmas Eve their reactions were of thankfulness. Team leader  Lisa Giddins, said:  " Some were so overwhelmed they became emotional. They were so overwhelmed that we could be so thoughtful  trying to make a difference to their health and well-being!"

**   Big thanks also went out to the estates boys who de-iced and gritted HRI last Friday morning when the snow came down.
