Unlike Christmas trees, staff nurse Linda Hackney doesn't drop her needles.
Totally the opposite, she's an ace knitter and has produced this dolly* to amuse her colleagues in theatres at CRH.
She's previously made them many for charities such as Candelighters and for her friends' daughter when she was ill with leukaemia.
Linda said: "Because we have been short-staffed for a long time I joked once about knitting another member of staff. It's on the theme of a clown from a book of clown patterns I have...but modified to be like a theatre worker. "
Breast surgeon Alison Waterworth sent in the photo saying Linda is a star!
Linda, added: " I was taught by my mom as a child how to knit and I have been knitting garments since I was a teenager. I took it up as it's nice to make your own clothes and things for other people. Knitting is only knit or purl, but it's how you combine them.
" Making Aran jumpers is very satisfying. I have made many toys trying to raise money for the charity, Candlelighters, and also for when a friend's child was ill with leukaemia."
**The team now plan to put names into a hat for their dolly. Comms have called her Anna-thesia for Lolz!
