This weekend sees the start of our Medical Services Reconfiguration to ensure we can deliver quality, safe care throughout this winter for our patients and their families.

In essence we are centralising some services which are currently provided at both Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Hospital onto one of the sites only. So:

* all wards for our elderly patients will be located together at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary

* all cardiac and respiratory care will be provided at Calderdale Royal Hospital.
