Our Trust had an amazing three separate entries at this year's Nursing Times 2017 awards - the most representation of any Trust in the country.
Our Lung Cancer team, our HOOP team and the Continence Team shared a table at the event at the Grosvenor Hotel, London last Thursday and just missed out on a top gong.
Our lead nurse for HOOP Cath Briggs, said: "It was a great night even though we didn't win. We all found out a lot more about each other's work at CHFT and getting to know each other made it special."
Our teams supplied us with a photo account of the night (see attached) - incuding a bar bill for two G&Ts which would make Yorkshire eyes water!
**We are pleased to share the successes of our local healthcare partners who were among the winners. Mental health trust South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust won the prize for Children and Adolescent services with their partners Leeds Community Healthcare Trust and Emma Bleasdale was Nurse of the Year for her work at the Forget-Me-Not Trust children's hospice at Brackenhall. So well done to them!
