The Trust is again in the position of welcoming new apprentices to our teams. We recruited two new cohorts in July and September and wish them all the very best in their careers with us.

These two cohorts are spread across both sites and Eilish McLaughlin, front row, right, is based at the intermediate care beds at Brackenbed View, Halifax. Her apprentice colleagues are also based in endoscopy, surgical wards, medical wards, LDRP, ENT OPD, A&E, gynaecology OPD, rehabilitation and  ante-natal clinic.

Here Eilish tells all about her path to  her apprenticeship - via Wetherspoons!

I have just left Crossley Heath sixth-form after doing A-Levels in Biology, Psychology and Music.  I have deferred university for a year to complete my apprenticeship and then go on to study Nursing in Sheffield.
