Both Mel and Tania left the Trust on Friday 8th of May to join the Improvement Academy at the Yorkshire and Humber. Mel had worked for the Trust for 16 years starting on the Stroke rehab ward, then to Risk Manager. Her final role for the Trust was the General Manager for the Governance team.

 

Mel said: “I will miss the people most! I have worked with some fantastic staff over the years and I will miss their support”

 

Tania King had worked for the Trust since 1986 – 29 years! She started off as an Occupational therapist. Her last role at the Trust was Service Improvement Manager.

 

Tania said: “what I’ll miss the most is definitely the people, and also my daily shot of caffeine from the Nespresso machine we clubbed together to buy in the office”

 

Tania is semi-retiring and will be working 2 days a week with Mel at the Yorkshire and Humber Improvement Academy.
