Every day, our Trust receives social media messages from our patients and their families who've taken the time to write in and thank us. It may be they single out an individual or a team  but they're always lovely and worth sharing, we reckon, with the whole Trust.

Many come  via Twitter or Facebook so follow us if you don't already and for those who aren't here's a selection.

This week's include:

** a  lovely message sent to us from Helen Maskil who is Head of Communications for NHS Improvements and lives in Halifax. “Just wanted to thank all at A & E Halifax for the great care of my nephew on Friday. He dislocated his shoulder in a biking accident, brought in by a YAS paramedic, was seen treated within an hour and now recovering well. Thank you again”

** Helen Sutcliffe tweeted “Happy 6th birthday to my amazing boy he had a rocky start @CHFTNHS but now he's a little star”

** James Mendelsohn‏ tweeted “@CHFTNHS thank you for excellent care at HRI yesterday. Excellent, professional, dedicated staff”

And finally, Aunjum Hussina sent us a message on Facebook saying: “I would be grateful if you could pass on a special thank you to some of the amazing people that looked after my mum. 2 years ago she was cared for by staff on ward 11 and ICU at HRI - the care she got was amazing. All the staff were amazing including the cardiology doctors and nurses. More recently she was admitted after suffering a cardiac arrest. HRI resus, CRH CCU, ward 6b and ICU were all so kind and caring towards my mum. Unfortunately mum passed away on ICU. Everyone that came into contact with mum and all her family showed a lot of kindness. We will always be grateful for the care given by CHFT”
