The Yorkshire and Humber NHS Genomic Medicine Centre are working with all acute trusts (including ours) in the Yorkshire and Humber region to deliver the 100 000 Genomes Project, a national project to provide whole genome sequencing to patients with rare diseases and cancer. They are holding an event on the 27th September on how Genomics in transforming healthcare, and improving patient care and outcomes. This event is aimed predominantly at clinicians though any healthcare professional with an interest in genetics and genomics is welcome to attend. It is a free event and CPD points are being applied for.
