You could be following in the steps of our deputy director of nursing Lindsay Rudge - a Celebrating Success finalist back in 2011.
Lindsay, then senior nurse, was nominated for Leader of the Year for her work heading our Productive Ward campaign and she was runner-up that year.
Productive Ward was a national nursing scheme empowering nurses to get the best out of their wards for their patients' benefits. It was launched at pilot sites then rolled out across the UK. Backed with £50m from the government, it was designed to empower ward teams to identify areas for improvement giving frontline staff the info, the tools, the skills and the time they needed to regain control of their ward and the care they provided.
Lindsay recalls: " I remember this with such pride on behalf of the teams I'd worked with to achieve the outcomes
"I couldn't believe the nomination and dedicated it to the fantastic colleagues across the organisation who were committed to improve patient experience and outcomes and releasing time to provide compassionate care.
"Behind every winner on the night there's so much great teamwork so I would urge anyone who is proud of what they have done over the past year to submit an entry. it's a fab night where everyone is a winner and makes you very proud to be part of CHFT".
