A quick heads-up that work start next week near to CRH which may impact journey times for around seven weeks, through to early September.

Works will begin on Skircoat Green Road near to the junction of Stafford Road and will progress along towards the four way junction of Dryclough Lane, before continuing on to the junction of St Bevans Road.

In order to carry out the work safely and efficiently, it will be necessary to introduce a number of traffic management measures throughout the project.

From Monday 24 July until Sunday 30 July, there will be two way temporary traffic signals on Skircoat Green between Stafford Road and Dryclough Green. On Monday 31 July, these lights will then change to four way temporary lights to enable completion of works at the junction of Drycough Road, and will remain in situ until Sunday 13 August. As they move away from the junction the lights will then be reduced back down to two way signals from Monday 14 August for the remainder of the scheme.

All traffic signals will be manually operated between the hours of 7am – 9am and 3pm – 6pm Monday to Friday.
