We are creating a new Women’s Health Unit at HRI. 

The Pre-Operative Assessment corridor at HRI has been narrowed so the work can be carried out. Unless there is an emergency we’re asking colleagues not to use the corridor for access, unless it is to get to pre-op assessment or for emergency transfers.

This work is being completed to bring together all the services in one area, as there are currently women's facilities in both Cedarwood and also the new unit on the old dermatology ward.

Once the work is fully complete - it's being done in phases with an expected completeion date on September - there will be two scanning rooms, an antenatal day unit, a colposcopy unit and consultants' rooms.
