Dear Colleagues,

It is my very great pleasure to be able to announce we shall soon be opening the doors for the nominations for Celebrating Success 2015.  For me it is, without doubt, one of the highlights of the year with the chance for colleagues from all areas to have a good night out and to celebrate what we are very good at – delivering compassionate care to our patients and their families.  Here's a link to a a brilliant video from last year's judging process to inspire you....

Whatever your role or job title it makes no difference to these awards because we are all Team CHFT.  Whether you work in clinical or non-clinical teams everyone can enter and that is what I like about Celebrating Success awards. They are open to all and the night is always a great mix of colleagues from different teams right across the Trust. Again, they willl focus around the Four Pillars and again there will be the three individuals' categories to celebrate our  unsung heroes, great leaders, and volunteers.

For me, everyone there is a winner and that night celebrates our team work 24/7, 365 days a year for our patients and their families. I am well aware of the innovation, commitment and passion at our Trust and this is the one night we can celebrate it and share the success. The cheers from the team tables – and the louder the better -  always make for a brilliant event which both me and chairman Andrew Haigh are proud to be part of – even though we just hand over the trophies!!

So, as you can tell, Celebrating Success means a lot to me - even more so when we are going through such challenging times - so I do hope you get your entry in and make it another CHFT night to remember.

Regards,

Owen
