Dr Annika Graham's colleagues and friends all came together to bade her farewell after 21 years here.
Dr Graham said: “I’ve really enjoyed working here. It’s been great to see individuals I’ve trained go onto great things both here at CHFT but across the country”
She joined CHFT on 1st December 1995 following training in Manchester in 1985. “I’m going to miss the people the most, everyone I’ve worked with over the years from the specialist team, consultants and those closest to me.
“When I first started at HRI there were only five physicians and four elderly medicine physicians, we’ve come a long way since them. It’s been great to be a part of developing the Respiratory care here at CHFT.”

Clinical director Ashwin Verma, said: " You will be missed. You've been a great asset to Respiratory care.”
She will be leaving CHFT to join a smaller respiratory team at Dr Gray’s Hospital, in Elgin in Scotland.
She added: “It will be nice to finish work on time and explore the great outdoors as Elgin. Where I’m moving has the lowest rain fall and most sunshine in the whole of Scotland.”
