This year colleagues must read a Fire Safety Handbook on their ESR eLearning account to make sure their mandatory fire training is up-to-date.

The course will show in your competence requirements 12 months after you last did your training, so some colleagues will see theirs appearing soon. It should take around 15-20 minutes to complete.

Our Fire Officer Keith Rawnsley will also be carrying out unannounced visits to various areas and departments to check colleagues' understanding of the fire procedures, offer advice and clarification.
