Colleagues are invited to try in a trial park and ride - under your own steam -  next Thursday. (April 20)

Electric bikes will be based at Halifax Fire Station and colleagues can park for free there and cycle down past the moor and into work with a Bikeability instructor.

Places are limited so if you want to give it a go please contact Steve Pullan  or Don Furby  to book a time slot between 7am and 6pm.

What will happen 

A Bikeabillty instructor will meet you at Halifax Kings Cross fire station on your allotted time and direct you to the parking.

An electric bike / helmet/trouser clip/High Viz /lights for the journey  will  be supplied and you are asked to please wear suitable outdoor clothing. 

After an initial assessment of your riding skill in the drill yard the instructor will ride with you to  the hospital - journey take approx. 10-15min.

For the return journey, if you can meet the instructor at  the hospital  your allotted time and they will assist with the journey back to Halifax fire station.
