All future Patient Transport bookings will be required to be made via the YAS on-line booking system.

This is because, as part of the implementation programme for EPR, it has been identified that the current method of booking patient transport with Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS), via PAS and through EPR will not be possible following go-live. This is due to the inability of the YAS system (Cleric) to interface with EPR/PAS.

The system is easy to use. However, over the next few weeks colleagues from Estates and Facilities shall be visiting wards / depts. to answer any queries you may have.

All colleagues who are currently responsible for booking transport will need to ensure they are able to access Cleric and familiarise themselves with the system before EPR goes live at the beginning of next month. (May 2017)

In order to do this, those colleagues will need to apply for a log in and password by completing the attached blank online user request form, before forwarding to the email address on the form.

Once this has been done, and a response has been received back from YAS, confirming that an account has been set up, the Cleric online booking system can be accessed by the following link:

The on line booking system can also be accessed via the Trust Intranet and clicking on:

  • Clinical Tools
  • YAS Patient Transport Service

Please see attached guidance and information for further assistance. Online training is also available via the Trust Intranet by clicking on:
