Elections to the Membership Council – a reminder!

Want to stand for election to one of the vacancies for Staff Membership Councillors on our Membership Council? 

Want to use your experience as a staff member to help make improvements for patients?

Want to be given the chance to have your say to help senior managers in their decision making?

This is a reminder that we have four vacancies this year – in the Nurses/Midwives group, the Ancilliary group, the Doctors/Dentists group and the Admin/Clerical group – and elections will take place over June/July.  If you’d like to hear more about the role, come along to a briefing session at 6 pm on Thursday 13 April in Discussion Room 2, Lecture Theatre, HRI.  Ruth Mason will be there with our Chairman.

If you can’t attend the session but want to stand, please get in touch with Vanessa Henderson, the Business Manager for the Membership Office, on x7342 (HRI).  She can give you more information, put you in touch with an existing Membership Councillor, send you a nomination form, or all three!  You can e-mail her at membership@cht.nhs.uk.

If you do decide to give it a go, you’ll have until 5 pm on Friday 19 May to nominate yourself!
