Bradford District Care Foundation Trust (BDCFT) has been running a very successful leadership development programme called Moving Forward for black and minority ethnic (BME) staff for the past few years. 

Moving Forward is aimed at BME staff in bands 5 and 6 and we are delighted that we have been offered up to ten places for our staff to attend the programme which runs over 6 months. The Trust is keen to address inequality and this Moving Forward programme goes some way to helping us.  

The programme covers five modules over six months  aimed at removing barriers to career progression for BME staff and the focus of the programme is on career planning and development.

We are delighted that we have been offered this opportunity to support BME colleagues to undertake a proven programme that leads to career progression for participants. The application process is now open and the closing date is 31 March 2017.
