As one of many measures as we get ready for Electronic Patient Records, (EPR) our Deputy Director of Nursing for Modernisation, Jackie Murphy and Project Nurse Dianne Ashton met with a small group of international nurses to talk them through the new  system.

Jackie, said:  "Before we talked about it we asked them how they were feeling. All said they were nervous. Yet after our chat and run through of what the system looks like, all bar one said they felt much more reassured".

"Our nurses from Spain were really positive about introducing EPR as  it is already in widespread use over there. All were impressed we'll have a single source of patient data, and along with their positive exeprience of using Nervecentre they feel it's going to be a great step forward for our patients."

TRAINING - important information for trainees

The EPR Training Team send emails to attendees confirming the final venue for their EPR training - generally a couple of days in advance of their course.

Please check your email accounts to make sure you know where your training will take place. It may be best to do this as you prepare to leave your last shift before your training.

Training start times

To make sure colleagues don’t miss vital elements of training, this is a reminder that unless otherwise stated the morning training starts at 08:00 and afternoon sessions at 13:00.
