How long have you been together and did you meet at work?

Calum MacIver – Critical Systems Manager and Ellie Finn – General Manager  Acute Medicine met at a work’s leaving do in August 2014. Ellie recalls: " It was a joint leaving do for two people and the person I was there for didn’t turn up (mentioning no names - CAT GRUNDY!)."

If you’re married who proposed and where?

We are getting married in August this year. I’d like to say it was a romantic proposal but it was actually a very practical conversation over chicken…

What did you both like most about each other?

He is very good at making tea. I am very good at drinking it.

Do you talk about work at home and do you ever say that’s enough!

All the time, I get him to get me information. Funnily enough, medicine gets a very quick response from corporate information these days!

If you see each other at work is it difficult?

No. I “hot desk” in his office and get cups of tea and biscuits delivered at regular intervals.

As it’s Valentine’s Day Week what do you love about your jobs?

There’s always something new and challenging each day in both our jobs.
