We are again staging our day long support day for sixth formers and college studemt wanting to become medics.

It will be held on  Tuesday 21st February 2017, Learning and Development Centre, Calderdale Royal Hospital  

It is an interactive day when students will hear about life as a medical student, a junior doctor, a consultant and a GP. They will have a chance to learn about the top tips for applying to medical school (from medical students who have gone through the process recently), attend workshops on interview skills and practice, presentations skills, what makes a good doctor etc.  We have run a similar session for the past few years and it has proved really popular
