It was late on December 23 but that's when Obe Morake and his family were reunited  just in time for Christmas and all thanks to CHFT colleagues.

Fundraising started by theatres which spread throughout the Trust  enabled his three-year-old son, Refentse pictured opening his pressies, his mum, dad and neice to join him at home in Holmfirth.

Obe, a theatre orderly, is very poorly and his colleagues wanted to make this Christmas the best ever. As well as the fundraising drive, on Christmas Eve 20 CHFT colleagues went to his house for some seasonal carol singing which proved very emotional for everyone.

His close friend from theatres, Martyn Gothard, said: " Last time I tried to thank everyone but missed some people. So I extend this to absolutely everyone. We achieved what we wanted to make this Christmas the best ever. The response from across the Trust has been simply amazing."
