Fave Christmas carol? Silent Night. One of my best friends died at the age of 25 (32 years ago). His family are of German descent and his Mum always sang it in German. The carol that is first on my mind at Christmas. 

Christmas dinner disaster? I once had a vegan Christmas dinner. Not good for a carnivore. It was a couple of Christmases ago at my sister-in-law's on Christmas Day who are all vegans. Safe to say vegetables and no meat. Christmas isn't Christmas without a turkey.

Best bit about Christmas? When the kids were younger, watching them open their pressies. Now, just spending time with family and friends relaxing. Watching movies with a bottle of Baileys, a whisky chaser and plenty of mince pies. Well you got to indulge sometime!

Fave present ever and why? A bike when I was about six - I rode it into the ground.  My Mum and Dad lived in England and I lived with my Grandma in Jamaica. Although it was my Christmas present, I had to fight my cousins to ride it!
