Communications Officer, Megan Litjens, was in London on Tuesday as her photo was selected from hundreds submitted nationally for the 'Our NHS at 75' exhibition. She attended the VIP event in Covent Garden where her photo was on show at The Fujifilm House of Photography.

Megan wanted to thank everyone who supported in making the photograph special. She said: “The photograph captures a moment of teamwork, but it also took teamwork to capture that moment. I wouldn’t have even entered the competition if my team hadn’t pushed me to go for it!”

Commenting on the event, Megan said: “It was so much fun, the talent which was on display was incredible. I found it really inspiring seeing everyone’s photos. It’s incredible all the things the NHS is achieving across the country and I felt very proud to be there representing CHFT.”

The successful entrants across the country were invited to the event, where they were each given a commemorative coin, as well as printouts of the photos. Entries were judged by a star-studded panel, including This Morning’s resident GP Dr Ellie, award winning journalist Victoria Macdonald, eminent photographer Lewis Khan, Dr Habib Naqvi MBE, Fujifilm’s Theo Georghiades and Chief Nursing Officer for England, Dame Ruth May.
