Helen Stocks, from the engagement team, sends four generations of family thanks on the NHS’s 75th.

Helen’s Mum gave birth to her at the old Infirmary in town, then Mum and baby were transferred up to the new HRI, so Helen was the first baby cared for here. Helen, who has worked here for 16 years,  cut the cake 15 years ago back on the NHS’s 60th.

Helen’s daughter,` Jacqueline, worked here at CHFT for six years and is now a Senior Project Manager for Quality Transformation at NHS England (formerly HEE). Helen has just welcomed a granddaughter, Emily May, who was born on Sunday.

Helen says: “My Mum was given an extra 20 years of life thanks to the NHS. My daughter Jacqueline wouldn’t be here without the NHS. Last Sunday the NHS safety delivered my beautiful granddaughter Emily May, into this world.  I have only these words - thank you NHS for everything you do.”
