This year's winners have been announced at the 17th annual Health Informatics Service Awards.

The event was opened by Chief Digital and Information Officer, Rob Birkett, and Chief Executive Brendan Brown also gave a few words to kickstart the celebrations. A presentation, quiz, raffle and even a poem were on the programme for this year's event. All to showcase how the work The Health Informatics Service (THIS) provides to support our services.

In total there were nine categories this year. The winners for each category were:

Driving Change and Innovation - Saima Hussain

Dedication to Customer Service - Frederick Rochester

Rising Star - Sophie Thomas

Quality Champion - Chris Eves

Wellbeing and One Culture of Care – Carol Bridgman

Team of the Year – Business Intelligence Team

Leadership Award - Charlotte Anderson

Director’s Award - Ian Holloway

Employee of the Year Award – Andrew Nichols

After the Awards, Forget Me Not Children's Hospice were presented with a cheque of £1000 from THIS and the CHFT Charity were presented with a £344 donation from the money raised during the raffle.

The Awards are an occasion to highlight and celebrate the fantastic services, projects and implementations that THIS teams delivered in 2024.
