Thanks once again to our partners at Sovereign Health Care for their annual cheque donation in support of our nursing and midwifery workforce.

Last year’s donation, which was doubled in Sovereign’s 150th year, was put towards various initiatives, including a cohort of six colleagues trained to record digital stories to share the patient and carer voice, to share good practice and quality improvement.

Chief Nurse, Lindsay Rudge, said: “We have been fortunate to have had the support of Sovereign Health Care for many years. Their generous donations have been used to support nurse training and development, and this year it has also supported a number of digital initiatives to highlight our commitment to person-centred care.”

Looking ahead to the coming year the donation will support innovations in dementia care and patient experience initiatives.
