Across the country there has been a 70% increase in hospital cases of flu in a week, which has led to a change in national guidance for vaccinations.
Peer immunisers on wards and departments will now be able to give flu vaccinations until the end of March 2025, but colleagues are being encouraged to have their vaccine as soon as they can to help protect our vulnerable patients and each other ahead of Christmas.
Pop along to any ward or department and ask for the nearest peer immuniser.
