Viral gastroenteritis is an intestinal infection that includes signs and symptoms such as watery diarrhoea, stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting, and sometimes fever. It can be passed on easily to our vulnerable patients and colleagues, so please:

• Do not come to work if you have any symptoms
• Do not come back to work until 48 hours after the symptoms have stopped
• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water to stop the spread
