Speak Up month continues and today we feature one of our newest recruits to the ambassador role.

Service Manager for The Health Informatics Service, Melanie Hill, said: “I understand that colleagues will sometimes find it difficult to ask for help. As an ambassador I would encourage colleagues to come forward and talk to us about any issues or concerns that they may have. We’re here to listen, assist and support colleagues all within a safe environment.”

Last week our Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) Guardian, Carol Gregson, visited the A&E at CRH as part of the awareness month.

Carol said: “It was great to see what was happening with FTSU in the department. We had some great discussions and set the challenge to colleagues around what they as a department and team. We talked about our patients and the flow through the department, and also our workforce, and leadership and culture and how colleagues could speak up."

You can see all our workplace ambassadors on the intranet.
