To coincide with International Stammering (Stuttering) Awareness Day on Tuesday, 22 October 2024, the NHS Employee Stammering Network will host a virtual Lunch and Learn session open to all NHS colleagues.

This is a one-hour event which will provide general information on stammering, discuss case studies, share lived experiences from NHS colleagues who stammer with a focus on the impact of stammering in the workplace, and will offer general tips and advice on how to support a person (colleagues, patients or members of the public) who stammer. It's also an opportunity for people to ask any questions about stammering they’ve wanted to ask but never felt they could.
