Medical Secretary Team Leader, Tegan Joseph, has recently taken over as Chair of the Women's Network. She'll be relaunching the group with her first event as Chair taking place on Monday, 21st October between 12:30 and 13:30.
Tegan said: "I am so excited to take on the role of the Chair for the Women's Network and I am very aware of the responsibility it brings. We are entering a new era, and this network will ensure a safe, inclusive, comforting and reassuring space. Whether it's for education, advice or just to listen. I cannot wait to see as many colleagues as possible get involved."
Chief Nurse, Lindsay Rudge, is our executive sponsor of the Women's Network and said: "This is a big opportunity for colleagues to be a part of this exciting new start and recognise the uniqueness and diversity we all bring. Women influence and are the largest part of our workforce here at CHFT. We aren’t just influencing here but we are out in the communities, and this will be something that we do more work on. Having a voice is so important.
"Even if it’s just to listen, or to access different resources, you can be a part of it as little or as much as you want. I can’t wait to see you there."
The meeting will cover topics such as Infertility and Baby Loss Awareness Month, sexual safety at work and trans women and inclusive language. It will take place over Microsoft Teams. If you would like to join, please email tegan.joseph@cht.nhs.uk
