It may look like a building site (because it is), but work is cracking on at pace on our new Learning and Development Centre at CRH, with the final touches to be added within the next few weeks.
The top floor of the building will house numerous meeting rooms, all with audio visual equipment and many have the flexibility to convert into larger or smaller meeting areas.
The new light and bright library area will also sit on the top floor.
The ground floor will house dedicated clinical skills training areas, such as manual handling and resus training, as well as a brand-new SIM Suite, with the same high-tech facilities as at HRI. There will also be breakout hubs, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors for colleagues to meet in, offering a light and bright meeting space.
Both floors are separated by a long, wide corridor and there will also be a much larger lift than at the current learning centre.
A new breakout area and accessible toilet and showers will complete what is shaping up to be a fantastic space for our colleagues to collaborate and learn in.
The outside area will be landscaped to make the approach and surroundings a calm and restful area.
