Teams from right across CHFT joined forces to take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday, 14th September. Together they managed to raise more than £1,000 for our CHFT Charity.

There were nine participants taking on the three peaks - Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough - including Ward 6b Healthcare Assistants Shannon Thornton and Natalie Hazeltine. They managed to complete the challenge in under 8 hours to help raise money for our Trust.

Shannon said: "Getting from the first peak to the second peak was very challenging. When it got really tough, we had to remember why we were doing it. On the way up the final peak, I put music on to help motivate me, by that point I was literally crawling up on all fours!"

A huge well done to everyone who took part in the challenge.
