Theatres Admin Assistant, Kathryn Hutton, was lost for words when she heard that she’d won the latest £1,000 main staff lottery prize.
Kathryn, who first started working in the theatres team at CHFT when she was 19, heard from a colleague she’d won after it was announced on CHFT Live.
She said: “I never thought I'd win. It’s usually me who checks so I can tell people they’ve won, but this time someone came to tell me I was the lucky winner!”
When she found out the news she was completely lost for words and is probably going to treat herself to a weekend away or putting it towards a holiday.
Have you ever wondered what the money you pay to join the staff lottery is used for? Proceeds are used to improve the health and wellbeing of staff and patients at CHFT.
Most recently this has meant being able to fund a replacement bench near the main entrance at HRI. The bench is for colleagues, patients and visitors to take a moment outside and to provide an opportunity for them to unwind, socialise or to simply enjoy a change of scenery.
