Deputy Director of Operations, Gill Harries, her husband, and their friends are raising money for CHFT's Charity by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro - the tallest peak on the continent.
The group have been training hard to take on the challenge. They leave this Wednesday and will waste no time, as they start the climb on Thursday. All funds raised will be donated to CHFT's Maternity Bereavement Service. Gill said: "The service makes a huge difference for families at a really difficult time in their lives.
"Climbing 'Killy' has been a dream of mine for some time, and I just thought why not challenge yourself to do something out of your comfort zone. It's great to do this with friends, we all get on well, laugh a lot and look after each other. I am doing it for all the women, mothers and grandmas out there. Nothing is impossible!"
Good luck to you all, we'll be rooting for you! You can find Gill's fundraising page here.
