Appointment Clerk, Christine Heslop, is retiring this week after working for CHFT since 2014.
She started her #TeamCHFT career in Clinical Preparation and General Surgery Outpatients before moving into her current position within the Appointments Centre, which she has done for the past five years.
Her colleagues are sad to see her go but wanted to wish her a happy retirement. Appointment Services Supervisor, Hussnain Bhatti, said: "Christine has always shown kindness and empathy towards the patients she deals with on a daily basis as well as the colleagues she works with. Some of these colleagues have said how grateful they are for the training and support she has offered.
"We will miss working alongside Christine and offer our best wishes for happiness and relaxation and to enjoy her retirement."
Farewell Debra - the Queen of RTT
Operations Manager, Debra Leather, retired last week after working at CHFT for 22 years. Over the course of her career, Debra worked as a theatre secretary, surgical administration manager, and has helped shape the way CHFT operates.
General Manager, Sharon Berry, said: "Debra was a driving force in CHFT's EPR implementation. She was heavily involved with the preparation groups, the go live and the subsequent changes and amendments.
"Her role in data quality, validation and RTT across the whole trust has been instrumental in driving CHFT forward and she has shared and passed on her knowledge to countless colleagues within the organisation. Many thanks to Debra - the "Queen of RTT."
